Geoengineering   Geoengineering refers to deliberate, large-scale interventions in the Earth's climate system to counteract the adverse effects of global warming. Basically   In layman's terms this means placing a layer of a dusty type material similar to what erupts from volcanoes, high up in the sky.  Why?  Observations after large volcanic eruptions suggest they have an overall cooling effect upon the Earth's climate.   Types of Geoengineering  Solar Radiation Management (SRM) is a specific type of geoengineering which involves reflecting sunlight back into space in order to reduce the amount of solar energy absorbed by the Earth. A parenting group on social media was discussing the affects of today's modern technology upon our young children.  I commented: A very debatable subject. Careful adult responsibility is required to ensure settings are right, security is set, & supervision is offered. The choices parents & caregivers make of what the children can do on a tablet should be carefully considered beforehand & time limits should be set & adhered to. Imho tablets should not go in a childs bedroom & sleep space, but I also know there are special circumstances when a child having a tablet in the bedroom is beneficial overall to the both the child & the family (for example a child with Autism). The old saying goes 'u can have too much of a good thing', tablets are fun & have many interactive ways to aid a child's learning, development & creativity.
