A parenting group on social media was discussing the affects of today's modern technology upon our young children.  I commented: A very debatable subject. Careful adult responsibility is required to ensure settings are right, security is set, & supervision is offered. The choices parents & caregivers make of what the children can do on a tablet should be carefully considered beforehand & time limits should be set & adhered to. Imho tablets should not go in a childs bedroom & sleep space, but I also know there are special circumstances when a child having a tablet in the bedroom is beneficial overall to the both the child & the family (for example a child with Autism). The old saying goes 'u can have too much of a good thing', tablets are fun & have many interactive ways to aid a child's learning, development & creativity.
