Abstract Distraxtions Concerns

A parenting group on social media was discussing the affects of today's modern technology upon our young children.  I commented: A very debatable subject. Careful adult responsibility is required to ensure settings are right, security is set, & supervision is offered. The choices parents & caregivers make of what the children can do on a tablet should be carefully considered beforehand & time limits should be set & adhered to. Imho tablets should not go in a childs bedroom & sleep space, but I also know there are special circumstances when a child having a tablet in the bedroom is beneficial overall to the both the child & the family (for example a child with Autism). The old saying goes 'u can have too much of a good thing', tablets are fun & have many interactive ways to aid a child's learning, development & creativity.   Cash Freedom = Part of Our Freedom  A discussion ensued on social media when I stood up for the importance of keeping cash money in our society, many underestimate the power and liberty cash money allows us. Some may consider digital monetary formats easier and quicker, such as cards and smart phones.  However this is my point of view that I feel very strongly about.  S##### G##### wrote to me: Toni Cairns if by freedom you mean tax avoidance. Sure. My reply: S##### G##### by freedom what I mean is this... cash is protection from identity theft, digital fraud, being digitally tracked, scams and spams, the freedom to not have to be registered online with passwords, use loyalty card schemes, recieve unnecessary emails that have to be unsubscribed from. Cash removes many annoyances and daily stressors caused by other payment methods, that require the need for bank and building society accounts, photo ID processes to confirm identity, they require the necessity to keep safe debit and cre
